Parker is 2! I cannot believe it’s been two years since I photographed this little guy! He was so much fun this morning! Lots of energy and a tonne of character. What a cutie!

Yesterday I had some fun with Jennifer Horner, of Jennifer Horner Photography in Brisbane, shooting some Eden Elizabeth maternity gowns! We had two gorgeous ladies model for us and it was such a great day. Lots of laughs and chocolate! Here they are looking absolutely stunning.

You may have noticed my blog has been looking decidedly neglected. I pretty much avoided writing blogs for all of 2016! That’s not because I wasn’t shooting, it was actually the opposite. We welcomed our twins in February 2016 and I was back into work 3 months later. It’s a bit of a cop out, but I felt I didn’t have enough time in my days and my poor website has suffered. So, here is a snapshot of my sessions from 2016. The most important part of any newborn session is making sure your baby is safe and comfortable, especially when using props. This is a very serious issue for me, and something photographers just starting out in newborn photography need to be aware of, so I thought I would write a short post about how to photograph these precious bundles safely. 5 month old Bria and her big brother and sisters visited my in the studio recently. They are so enamored with her! It was so beautiful to watch how they showered her with love. We also got a few shots with Bria’s mum and I just love them. It is too easy not to be in photos with your kids and I am very passionate about mums getting in the photos so they can be looked back on in 10, 20, 30 years time. Bria is the CUTEST!
